At Casa LS, on Praia da Baleia along São Paulo's northern coast, the architecture bows to the sea. The 590 m² were organized so the social rooms open fully to the outdoors — deep verandas, disappearing window frames and a continuous transition between living room, deck and sand. True beach materials such as pale wood, fibers and stone dispense with ceremony and age gracefully in the salt air. It is a barefoot house: generous for family gatherings, serene when the sea is the only guest.
