CasaCor SP 2022 — SERtão

SERtão, presented at CASACOR São Paulo 2022, transforms the arid landscape of Brazil's hinterland into spatial poetry. Across 250 m², golden light, dry fibers, burnt-toned wood and artisanal furniture evoke the dignity and beauty of sertanejo life — a theme dear to the architect's trajectory. The name, fusing 'ser' (to be) and 'sertão', announces the concept: a space about identity and belonging, where aridness becomes material for warmth and tradition meets contemporary design.
